Fellowship Presbytery

Gaffney, SC (September 19, 1996)--Fellowship Presbytery met at the Salem Church for its Seventh Stated Meeting. Following the worship service, led by Richard Schwartz, a candidate for ordination, Presbytery observed a season of prayer.
Several upcoming Presbytery events were announced, including a Presbytery Picnic followed by a Hymn Sing at the Hopewell Church on October 5; a Presbytery WIC Retreat on October 19; and a Sunday School Teachers' Workshop at the Westminster Church in Rock Hill in April 1997. The next two stated meetings will be at McCutchen Memorial PCA in Union on January 24, 1997, and at Zion PCA in Lowrys on April 24, 1997.
TE Samuel B. Hoyt, Jr. was approved as Stated Supply at Trinity PCA while they search for a pastor. TE John David Love, a member of Calvary Presbytery, was examined and licensed to preach in Fellowship Presbytery, and approved as Stated Supply for Bullock Creek PCA in Sharon. Mr. Richard Magill, who is attending Covenant Seminary, was approved as a candidate for the gospel ministry under care. Mr. Richard Schwartz was examined for ordination to accept a call as Assistant Pastor at the Bethel Church. His examination was sustained pending receipt of his college and seminary transcripts and notification of completion and approval of his internship.
